Early Education & Support

SCoPe offers a range of Nationally Accredited Qualifications for people involved in (or aspiring to step into) early education and support. We have access to qualifications through our industry partnerships which enable individuals and organisations to gain formal qualifications whilst exploring best practice approaches.

CHC40213: Certificate IV in Education Support

The Certificate IV in Education Support is a qualification aimed at workers in a range of education and school settings who provide assistance and support to teachers to facilitate students' learning under broad based supervision. Some job roles may require tasks to be performed with a moderate level of autonomy and/or the provision of supervision/leadership to other staff/volunteers.

Typical job roes include (but are not limited to) Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander education officers, Indigenous language and culture teaching assistants, education assistants, special needs education assistants, education support workers, teacher aides, home tutors and teacher assistants.

CHC50113: Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care

The Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care is a qualification aimed at people who are in the role of early childhood educators who are responsible for designing and implementing curriculum in early childhood education and care services. In doing so they work to implement an approved learning framework within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard. They may also have responsibility for supervision of volunteers or other staff.

CHC50213: Diploma of School Age Education and Care

The Diploma of School Age Education and Care is a qualification aimed at people who are in the roles of educators who are responsible for the day-to-day running of a before and after school care and/or vacation care service, including planning, implementing and managing programs which address regulatory and duty of care requirements. They will have responsibility for the supervision of volunteers and or other staff.


Sessions are limited to 12 participants and are scheduled according to demand.
