Training & Development

Many organisations are well aware of the importance of having strong human resource management policies and practices. Training is a critical component of the human resource management program. Employee skills fall into three categories: technical, interpersonal and problem solving. On-the-job training methods include job rotation (lateral transfers that enable employees to work at different jobs) and understudy assignments (in which new employees learn their jobs by studying under a seasoned veteran). Off-the-job training includes classroom lectures, films and simulation exercises (such as case analysis and role-playing).

SCoPe offers a range of Nationally Accredited Qualifications for people involved in (or aspiring to step into) the training profession. We have access to qualifications through our industry partnerships which enable individuals and organisations to gain formal qualifications whilst exploring best practice training approaches.
