Project Management

Project management requires a strong focus on planning, scheduling and organising resources and tasks, increasingly today's project managers also need to be able to collaborate, communicate, inspire performance, innovate and engage their project teams.

SCoPe offers a range of Nationally Accredited Qualifications for people involved in (or aspiring to step into) a project management role. We have access to qualifications through our industry partnerships which enable individuals and organisations to gain formal qualifications whilst exploring best practice Project Management approaches.

BSB41515: Certificate IV in Project Management Practice

The Certificate IV in Project Management Practice is a qualification with skills sets that are portable to all industries and organisations. This qualification reflects the role of individuals who identify and apply project management skills and knowledge in a wide variety of contexts. They may be members of a project team but with no direct responsibility for the overall project outcomes. They support project operations in one or more roles and under direction may also use project tools and methodologies selectively to support organisational or business activities. They take responsibility for their own outputs in terms of organisational and project quality requirements, and may have limited responsibility for the output of others.

BSB51415: Diploma of Project Management

The Diploma of Project Management is a qualification with skills sets that are portable to all industries and organisations. It reflects the role of individuals who apply project management skills and knowledge.

Typically participants may manage projects in a variety of contexts, across a number of industry sectors. They have project leadership and management roles and are responsible for achieving project objectives. They possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical and managerial competencies to initiate, plan, execute and evaluate their own work and/or the work of others.

BSB61215: Advanced Diploma of Program Management

The Advanced Diploma of Program Management is a qualification with skills sets that are portable to all industries and organisations. It reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in program management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. A program is defined as a set of interrelated projects, each of which has a project manager. 'Multiple projects', or 'a program of projects', refers to a number of related projects managed by the same person as a program to achieve organisational objective/s.

It applies to individuals who are program managers, managing or directing a suite of projects (a program) to achieve organisational objectives. Participants at this level use initiative and judgement to direct, plan, and lead a range of program functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.


Sessions are limited to 12 participants and are scheduled according to demand.
